Vihren peak, located in Pirin mountains, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Bulgaria. With it's height of 2914 m above sea level it is the second highest peak in Bulgaria after Musala peak (2925 m). To the North of Vihren peak is situated Kutelo peak (the second highest peak in Pirin - 2908 m) and "Koncheto" (The Horsie) which is a ridge with steep slopes on both sides approximately 300 meters deep.
