This yearly show of colour is truly something to be seen, but you have to be quick as it doesn't last long. It's a display of colour that I'd been trying to catch for a few years but each time before getting there a week or so too late.

Queenswood Country Park is an amazing place to visit, a managed arboretum with an area dedicated to nothing but Japanese Maples or Acers as they are also known and the autumn colours are outstanding. Just so many shades from greens through reds, oranges, pinks and yellows and all bright and vivid.
