The lagoon of Veleka river is located on the back of the North beach in Sinemorets. This area is declared a wildlife reserve. The "Veleka" beach is a real piece of nature because of the way the river flows into the sea and forms a wide sandy beach. Visitors of the latter hang out in the sea. When the sea waves are huge people swim in the river on the other side of the beach.
