Since 1986 there is a museum in an old ammo bunker built in 1943 in Hoek van Holland. The rescue and ferry museum :"Jan Lels". Here you can see the history of disasters at sea and the rescue material used over the years. On the roof of the bunker are authentic rescue vessels.
