The Harlow Cabin was built by William Harlow in the 1920s as he had a gold mining claim nearby.  Since being acquired by the forest service, the cabin has seen heavy vandalism in recent years, though a restoration effort is in effect for the historic cabin.  It is currently listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  This view is from the inside second floor where part of the boards are missing.
