Located in the historical center of Huelva, the Plaza de las Monjas had several names throughout its history. It is next to the convent of the Agustinas (hence its name).
It is a diaphanous square bordered by a coffee shop, a music kiosk and four smaller ones, in addition to a circular fountain.
A statue of Christopher Columbus recently presided over the square.
