自1996年深圳市坑梓镇引入陕西安塞腰鼓以来，坑梓街道开展腰鼓活动已有十多年历史，腰鼓已成为当地居民所喜爱的节日文娱节目。2008年元宵节坑梓街道文化广场再次举行腰鼓比赛，9支代表队450人参加了比赛。
