黃金神社的背景總讓人感到耐人尋味，隨著礦業的榮景漸漸消退，黃金神社也日漸灰飛湮滅，僅存現在所見幾個建築架構仍矗立，悼唸著過去的黃金歲月。整體看來，神社原型包涵寢殿、拜殿、洗手亭、參道所構成，參到上有三座鳥居、五座旗幟台與五座入院銅牛。現僅存鳥居二座、旗台僅存一，以及石燈籠三對，殿柱寥幾。以下介紹以現存的遺蹟為主。
