Bad Wimpfen is a spa town on the Neckar in the district of Heilbronn in Baden-Württemberg. The picturesque old town is one of the most impressive cityscapes in Germany. The famous silhouette rises proudly above the Neckar valley; striking buildings such as the Red Tower, the Stone House, the Blue Tower and the former Palas with its Romanesque double arc characterize the cityscape. We stand here in front of the town church with the crucifixion group of Hans Backoffen.
