The Thunder Tigers aerobatic team, officially known as the Thunder Tigers Technical Flying Corps, was first formed in 1953 in Tianan Air Base. On August 10th, 2013 , The Thunder Tigers came back to its birth place (Tainan Air Base) again for celebrating 60th anniversary and Air Force Day (Aug 14th). One of its famous signature aerobatics "Blossom explosion of colorful smoke (炸彈開花)" is demonstrated by a fleet of flying AT-3 trainer airplanes. Entire airplane flying fleet pitches up toward the deep sky then suddenly seperates. The Thunder Tigers always has magic to fascinate the crowd.
