Looking at the ridgeline leading up to Eagle Peak, the highest point in the Warner Mountains, California.  After cutting off the Summit Trail, I have made it to this barren vista where the wind gust was constant.  Just below the first section of trees as you climb up was an interesting deposit of manganese dendrites on the local rock.
