During the Egyptian Revolution in January/February 2011 the resort towns like Sharm El Sheikh were deserted by tourists, leaving the local businesses without clients. It is a strange site to walk through the normally very busy town center of Sharm El Sheikh and not see anyone...a time to relax, like here in Ocean College, one of the biggest scuba diving centers in town.
