Located in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona near the New Mexico border, Nutrioso is a very small town. It is on the edge of the Wallow Fire, the largest fire as yet in Arizona history. This picture shows a relatively untouched meadow just north of the town. It is typical of the open expanses of the Arizona highlands.
