Iglesia Pio X in Ancud is a typical wooden church covered with tejuelas painted red and orange. The tejuelas on this church are rectangular, with 45 degree angles. The bright colors of the church are a colorful contrast to a gray sky.
There are three roof levels to protect the entrance from the rain. The bell tower has a large white cross of white wood.
