The walk to Cascade Saddle from the Aspiring Valley floor takes 3-4 hours. The saddle is around 1800 metres above sea level. From here you can see Mount Aspiring to the North (hidden by cloud in this image) and Dart Glacier as it takes a steep dive down the valley.
