The 360 Photo presents the covered part of the ancient "Via Mercatorum", Road of Merchants, with some of the medieval buildings of Cornello dei Tasso. This village is one of the best preserved "Borgo" in Lombardy with very interesting examples of ancient mountain architecture. Here in 13th century was invented by Tasso's family the modern postal service as horseback service. One important person of the Tasso Family was Torquato Tasso, famous poet of 16th century. A branch of the Tasso Family migrated to Germany and generated the "Thurn und Taxis" Princely House.
