The headstone of 29 year old Tony Silveira is located in Memory Gardens outside Jacksonville, Oregon. Not much is known about him, though he was part of the National Guard & was hitchhiking to Eagle Point, Oregon from Salem, Oregon for a drill practice on December 4, 1982. During that point he encountered serial killer Randy Kraft, known as the Scorecard Killer, who specifically targeted young men from 1970-1983, mostly in Southern California as well as Oregon & Michigan. The manner of his murders are among some of the most evil I have ever read & will not mention here. Kraft is still alive as of this posting, serving on death row since 1989 at San Quentin State Prison (the death penalty was abolished in California in 2006). He was arrested during a drunk driving stop in 1983 w/ a deceased male passenger in the passenger seat, leading to the discovery of his criminal past. Convicted of 16 murders (being the costliest trial in the history of Orange County, California), his total count is likely as high as 67. Silveira was one of his victims, his remains found near Boones Ferry Road in Hubbard, Oregon on December 18, 1982. Though the evidence pointed to Kraft, he was not convicted for the murder. Some of Silveira's clothing were found at a hotel in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the same time Kraft was over there due to his employment. While in Michigan, he committed two additional murders. When arrested in 1983, Kraft had a sheet of paper in the trunk of his car that had 61 cryptic messages, which police linked as a death list of each of his victims, hence his name as the Scorecard Killer. Silveira was Kraft's 52nd entry titled "PORTLAND RESERVE". May Tony Silveira continue to rest in peace.

Thirteen British colonies fought the American Revolution from here and won their independence in the first successful colonial rebellion in history. Take a look at these rolling hills carpeted with foliage along the Hudson river here, north of New York City.The American south is known for its polite people and slow pace of life. Probably they move slowly because it's so hot. Southerners tend not to trust people from "up north" because they talk too fast. Here's a cemetery in Georgia where you can find graves of soldiers from the Civil War.The West Coast is sort of like another country that exists to make the east coast jealous. California is full of nothing but grizzly old miners digging for gold, a few gangster rappers, and then actors. That is to say, the West Coast functions as the imagination of the US, like a weird little brother who teases everybody then gets famous for making freaky art.The central part of the country is flat farmland all the way over to the Rocky Mountains.
