With regard to studies of MU students abroad, and short-term studies of international students at MU, it also plays a managerial and marketing role.

The OIS is active in six main areas:

the promotion, establishment and maintenance of bilateral links with foreign universities
international mobility (students, teachers and administrative staff)
the preparation and running of English-language programmes (short-term and semester-long programmes and summer schools)
consultation and advice in the preparation of projects in the Lifelong Learning Programme and in other international programmes (CEEPUS, AKTION, ERASMUS MUNDUS, etc.)
the promotion of MU at higher education conferences and fairs abroad

More About Brno

Brno is Czech's second largest city. It's a place full of peaceful country folk who drink more wine than Bohemians, their Czech friends to the west. Brno hasn't been trampled by many tourists, so it has quite a different character than the capital city, especially from the eyes of a visitor.
