Chimney Rock - Escalante, Utah
Utah
Not far off Hole In The Rock Road, in the middle of a wide prairie , stands this 120" tall monolith of sandstone. It is called Chimney Rock, which is a name that is quite common for many spires, hoodoos, and precipitous geologic points in the United States, primarily in the western states. This particular Chimney Rock lies about 2 miles east of Hole In The Rock Road about 35 miles southeast of Escalante, Utah.
