The reconstructed fountain building at the site of the Carian city of Datça. Boulakrates was a prominent citizen who gifted the fountain to the city. Situated on Cape Tekir, at the most western point of the Reşadiye Peninsula in Datça District of Muğla province Datça was a a very wealthy commercial city.
