In one of the coldest places in Andorra, by force of altitude and very close to the Occitan border, we find three blue lakes in a glacier valley dominated by the Tristaina peak. The image corresponds to the second of these lakes, the so-called "Estany del Mig", and was taken in August 2019. It depends on how we look at it, its silhouette reminds us of a seahorse.
