Not wanting to leave the Waimea Canyon after viewing it from the official viewing platform I continued up the highway to another parking stop. I found a trail through the trees clearly used before but not heavily traveled. I was surprised at how abruptley the trail ended and the drop-off (cliff) presented itself. Its deceiving but the camera is barely hanging onto the side of the canyon for this shot.
