Halfway point of the Akaka Falls loop trail, you're now on a ridgeline that opens to your side, presenting valley views whenever the trees open up.

On the loop, you can see the distant, beautiful Kahuna Falls, but the main attraction is Akaka Falls, which plunges 442 feet down the gorge into the stream below.
