Every year, pilgrims walk from "Heidingsfeld" (district of "Würzburg") to "Walldürn". The aim of the pilgrimage is the Holy Blood Altar. 400 years ago the plague brought the people on a pilgrimage - and of course the miracle of "Walldürn". The cup, which stood on the altar, fell, and the wine flowed over the underlying corporal. It painted a picture of the crucified Christ.
