Gigapixel view from the top of "Storm Dome" (elev. 8758') in Payette National Forest north of McCall, Idaho. The peak is unofficially named & connecting to the higher Storm Peak it is not an official summit. It does however provide a much better 360 degree view of the area. Here one can see North & South Loon Mountains across the way to the east, Twentymile Lakes Basin, the distant Wallowa Mountains in Oregon, the Seven Devils Mountains, Storm Peak, & a glimpse of Loon Lake. This summit has a sheer cliff wall on the northeast side that drops 500 vertical feet down w/ a view also of the frozen Storm Peak Lake.

Idaho is a state located in the northwestern region of the United States of America. There is some ambiguity as to where the name "Idaho" came from, but it is generally believed to have simply been made up by George M. Willing. There is a possibility it was derived from a Native American phrase. Idaho is very mountainous and is a popular outing destination of the outdoorsman.
