Southbroom is found just south of the popular town of Margate. Its long, curved beach is protected by lifeguards during peak holiday season. There is also a small shop nearby that offers refreshments and beach goodies. Freshwater showers are also provided to wash off the beach sand after a day of suntanning or swimming in the waves of the Indian Ocean.
