Normally, a parking lot is not my first choice for a photographic subject, but when it's surrounded by some of the largest trees in the world, it does help a little with perspective.  These gentle giants never fail to astound and amaze!  These trees would have been logged into extinction were it not for the tireless efforts of the likes of John Muir.
