North of Huesca is plenty of villages in danger of extinction. Life conditions are tough and people tend to leave looking for better opportunities. Planillo is not empty but almost... It is located in the right shore of Ara River, in Sobrarbe Region, Huesca, Community of Aragon. Rural tourism is saving these tiny villages. The old school of the village has turned a rural hotel, and some neighbours are adapting their old houses to offer touristic services.
