Basilica of the Assumption is the main church of the Cistercian abbey in Krzeszow. It has been built in the years 1728-1735. It is one of the pearls of european Baroque and one of the most beautiful baroque churches of Silesia. The portal and façade of the basilica sculpture has been made by Ferdinand Brokoff from Prague. Inside the Basilica are carved choir stalls and organ made by Czech, A. Dorazil. The frescoes has been painted by J. Neunhertz, in the numerous paintings in the basilica are the masterpieces painted by M. Willmann.

In the main altar is mounted in a miraculous painting "Madonna with Child" comming from the thirteenth century, the object of worship and numerous pilgrimages.
