The Falkirk Wheel, Scotland. The world's first and only rotating boat lift connecting the Union Canal with the Forth and Clyde Canal. The Falkirk Wheel uses only 1.8kWh of energy to turn, the same amount of energy to boil 8 household kettles of water.
