Salento is located in the department of Quindío. It is a mainly tourist municipality due to the attractiveness of its surroundings, among which is El Valle del Cocora, beautiful landscapes adorned with the monumental Wax Palm, Colombia's national tree. In the photograph we can see the Iglesia Nustra Señora del Carmen. A very popular dish in Salento is Trout in different preparations.
