The Belém Tower is located on the right bank of the Tejo River in Portugal, Europe. Built in Manueline style is one of the monuments ex-libris of Lisbon. Here was the point of departure and arrival of the Portuguese caravels, to discover new “ Worlds. "As the movement of ships was huge it was urgent to build a fortification to protect Lisbon and the Tejo estuary, so in six years, was built the Tower of Belem.
