The small, secluded beach at Uvongo is very popular destination among locals and tourists alike.

Lifeguards keep an ever watchful eye over bathers. There is a small swimming pool and a shop and restaurant situated within a short distance of the beautiful small sandy beach. Paddle boats are available for hire to take a leisurely trip up the river.
