Terrace Cemetery
Utah

Terrace Cemetery in the remote Utah landscape

1869 - CA. 1910

As the town grew, so too did the cemetery.  Accidents, illness, and old age contributed to residents of Terrace being buried here.  The cemetery has been slowly deteriorating, but was in fairly good condition until 1986, when vandals stole some of the headstones.  Vandalism of gravesites is a continuing problem, both in our large cities (where people topple or deface headstones) and in remote locations such as this.  Please help us protect this area by reporting any vandalism to the Box Elder County sheriff or to the Bureau of Land Management in Salt Lake City.
