One of the largest of the Red Sand Dunes of the Wild Coast, Eastern Cape, South Africa. This area is know as Xolobeni.

This is is also a proposed sand mining site! There has been much protesting against the proposed mining of the area in recent years, and as yet mining operations have not gone ahead. But it seems this beautiful area may very well be distroyed in the near future.

If you are planning on visiting these dunes, I highly recomend a 4x4 vehicle or motorbike (you may even need to use walking paths in places to get to the best views).
