秭归港：
♦秭归县位于湖北省宜昌市，地处川鄂咽喉，长江西陵峡两岸。面积2427平方千米，2012年有人口38万。西汉置秭归县。秭归是三峡库区首县，著名历史人物有伟大的爱国诗人屈原；民族和平使者王昭君；革命先驱夏明翰。
♦屈原故里文化旅游区是国家国家重点文物保护区，毗邻三峡大坝直线距离为600米，是观三峡大坝、览高峡平湖的最佳区位，同时以屈原祠、江渎庙为代表的24处峡江地面文物集中搬迁于此。
♦秭归港，位于三峡大坝上游3公里处。这里是秭归港客运码头，是长江航线上承东启西的中转枢纽港，由于三峡大坝的“点”状水运交通受五级船闸的制约，对库区船舶过坝相对阻滞，因此秭归港更是三峡大坝至重庆长线旅游交通线上的重要港口。
是日，原本定于宜昌新世纪码头登船地点改在秭归港。从宜昌市至秭归港，汽车行程约1.5小时。
