XT-Craft, Aberlady Bay, East Lothian
Scotland

One of a pair of wrecked World War Two XT-Craft lying near the low water mark in Aberlady Bay. The vessels were used for aerial target practice in 1946 after which they were abandoned.

XT-Craft were training versions of the X-Craft midget submarines which crippled the German battleship Tirpitz in 1943.
