The view from a spot up in the North Acropolis of Tikal with a nice view of the Great Plaza.  Built up enormously now, the North Acropolis is one of the older parts of Tikal, though the Pre-Classic levels are buried deep below the mass of buildings now.  Where I stood to take this pano would have been hovering up in the air in the early days of Tikal.  The level of building at Tikal, a truly huge city, is impressive.
