This is the Town Hall square of Corfu. This square as well as the big area of Spianada, are the main squares of the town. You can see here excellent buildings as the Town Hall and the Catholic Church of Saints Jacob and Christopher. The old times of Venetian age of the island, the Town Hall square was the intellectual place of the scholars. To day this is the meeting place for a coffee or a good dinner but also for joining many musical happenings and not only !
