Necropolis area of Gözleğentepe starts just by the side of the motor road in İnönü and Dibekli Sites of Yeşilovacık Neighborhood, Silifke. Salvage excavations were performed in the rock tombs located here by the Silifke Museum. The grave gifts revealed in the salvage excavation, including ceramic unguentaria, plates, bowls, loom weights, metal tools, amphorae, lagynos wares, askos pieces, glass bottles, were transferred to Silifke Museum. In accordance with the findings, the necropolis area was dated to the Early and Late Hellenistic Periods and the Roman Period.
