This panorama was taken above the camping area at the Horseshoe Bend campground along the Colorado River in Glen Canyon. This section of the river, from Glen Canyon dam down to Lee's Ferry is popular for tour boats and fishing boats in addition to a few kayaks and paddle boards. Look closely at the top of the rim across the river and you might be able to see several people gathered to view the sunset from the top of Horseshoe Bend Overlook.
