Waterfall at Whitfield Gill Force, Yorkshire. VR
England

This image has been re-mastered for Virtual Reality using a suitable viewer.

This waterfall is located in Wensleydale, one of the Yorkshire Dales which is famous for its cheese. The the river is the Ure, which downstream changes its name to the river Ouse

Within the stratified rocks, and on the banks, you can see a seam of coal, which is rain forest peat that has been compressed over 300 million years. You can see the effect on the dark brown colour of the river.
