Panorama view from Skala peak. On the North there is located Mitikas peak - the highest peak (2917m) in Greece and the 2nd highest in the Balkans after Musala (2925,40 m). Mitikas is a very popular tourist destination for hiking and with its views of vertical rocks and beautiful nature it is one of the most famous mountain tourist sites in Greece. There are many chamois here and thy do not afraid of people. Nights are awesome - without any artificial lights and with the clear air -  the Milky way looks great.
