The Muckross House is a mansion built with sixty-five roons in 1843 in the Tudor Style for Henry Arthur Herbert and his wife on the Muckross peninsula between Muckross Lake and Lough Leane where actually is the Killarney Nationa Park. The House, gardens, the traditional farm are open to public visitation and guided tours are available to see the roons inside the mansion.
