Montijo es una ciudad española, perteneciente a la provincia de Badajoz (comunidad autónoma de Extremadura). Está situado a medio camino entre Mérida y Badajoz, en la margen derecha del río Guadiana (a unos 5 km de distancia de éste). Pertenece a la comarca de Tierra de Mérida - Vegas Bajas.
