It is a small resort town located on the northern shore of Lake Calafquén which has 3,000 inhabitants. Its name means "flower of rock 'in Mapudungun and is located 30 km. Villarrica city and 50 km. Pucon.
There are four significant areas: the Peninsula, Playa Grande, Playa Chica and the Embarcadero.
The Peninsula has balconies that provide an overview of Lican Ray, the lake and islands. Located between Playa Grande and Playa Chica, its main entrance is at the beginning of the street Felipe Manquel Coast.
