Kranenburg is one of the largest cemeteries in the Netherlands in terms of surface area. It is a wonderful resting place due to the scenic and sloping construction plus beautiful location. There are special birds, flowers, trees and more than 500 different plants. Kranenburg is not just a cemetery. It is also a beautiful park where you can enjoy the beautiful nature while walking or sitting. After cremation, relatives can choose from a grave, interred in an urn wall (see pan 25-04-2019 Kranenburg Zwolle) or scatter over one of the scattering fields. It may seem sinister, but the gray-looking patches in the grass have recently been scattered with ashes.
