Located on over 50 acres of Papago Park in east Phoenix, Arizona, the Desert Botanical Garden is world famous for its collection of desert plants including many rare species. The Garden has daily tours and activities. It is a lovely place to visit any time of the year. Papago Park is a 1200 acre desert preserve just east of Phoenix, Arizona USA. The Park includes the Desert Botanical Garden, the Phoenix Zoo and Hunt's Tomb, the first governor of Arizona. The park also includes lakes, ramadas and other features.
