The Schoenenberg church is located on a 530 meter high elevation near Ellwangen. Particularly striking are the stucco work in the 49 m long and 23 m wide nave, which characterize the interior in addition to the high altar designed by Maximilian von Welsch. Another special feature is the walk-in gallery, which gives the visitor a wonderful view of the interior. The church is considered one of the jewels of Baroque architecture.
