Cuithe Heillanish Standing Stone, Vatersay
Scotland

The Cuithe Heillanish is an ancient standing stone adjacent to a barely discenable enclosure at the foot of of Ben Rulibreck on Vatersay.

The tiny island of Vatersay is home to fewer than 100 inhabitants. It is the southern-most populated island in the Outer Hebrides. Since 1991 it has had a permanent link to Barra via a causeway, providing access to the daily ferry service to the Scottish mainland.
